ACF Darling Range Community Group

This group recently started up with a meet and greet at Mojos Café in Mundaring. Fourteen environmental enthusiasts attended to find out more and how they can contribute.

Agents of Climate change program grows

Following the success of the Mundaring Agent’s of Climate Change event in March 2023, the Millennium Kids  team have developed a leadership program aimed at training more youth facilitators. #Go Beyond Gas   

Gas is fuelling the climate crisis more than any other industry in WA. Despite overwhelming evidence to support reducing emissions – and quickly -WA is rapidly expanding its most polluting industry.

Middle Arm Precinct and Beetaloo Basin Shale-Fracking gas field

There’s going to be a Senate enquiry into the Middle Arm Precinct plan for a gas, petrochemical, mineral and other energy export hub in Darwin Harbour. PHCCIG calling for the government to fast track the reform of the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act (EPBC), so that: carbon bombs such as the Beetaloo Basin Shale-Fracking gas field be properly dealt with by federal law; that subsidisation of the fossil fuel industry stops altogether, and… read more….

Australia’s, and indeed the world’s, greenhouse gas emissions are not going down at anything like the rate that’s needed for a safe climate.  

All levels of government need to act now – and respond to the seriousness of our climate emergency.   In the light of this deeply fearful situation, the actions of community groups can make a big difference. Please join us.
